Macaulay Culkin from Home Alone is joining Amazon’s Fallout Season 2

If true, Culkin’s addition to the cast as a recurring character from Fallout: New Vegas could potentially be a strategic move to win over die-hard Fallout fans who, while not outright hating the show, have more than a few questions about it his handling of the franchise’s lore and various inconsistencies, Todd Howard’s decision to consider the show canon, and what some saw as Bethesda’s attempts to uphold the legacy of the original Fallout games and New Vegas through the Atomic bomb of Shady Sands and the apparent destruction of to undermine the jewel of the Mojave Wasteland.

On the other hand, the showrunners have previously stated that they had no intention of pleasing OG Fallout fans with their adaptation, meaning it’s entirely possible, even more likely, that Culkin joins the team as a completely original character. Anyway, my only hope is that his character’s tag abilities include small weapons, repairs, and traps, just so the community can get a few laughs out of imagining a post-apocalyptic Kevin McCallister.
