HOW MUCH DO YOU PROFIT AFTER TAXES?

There are 800 million reasons to dream, especially about what you would do with the jackpot money. However, all lottery winners must expect to pay taxes on their winnings.

So how much do you actually have left after taxes?

This depends on several factors: Do you have to pay taxes where you live? Are you taking the lump sum payment or the pension payment?

According to the Mega Millions website, those who choose the annuity option will receive an immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments; a process that is identical to Powerball in terms of payouts.
