Michael Jordan causes concern among fans at Monaco-Barcelona football match

Some Michael Jordan fans fear that he is enjoying his European vacation a little too much.

The NBA legend attended the UEFA Champions League match between AS Monaco and FC Barcelona at the Louis II Stadium in Monaco on Thursday with his wife Yvette Prieto, but the 61-year-old’s yellow eyes gave cause for concern.

“Is this guy high or does he have a messed up liver?” asked one fan in the comments on an Instagram carousel of game photos posted by Bleacher Report.

“Can someone please examine this man’s liver?” asked another.

The fans didn’t hold back with their answers to X either.

“Why the hell is MJ here with jaundice? Eyes look like a Brooklyn vampire,” wrote one fan.

Some supporters offered simple solutions.

“Mike, get some water🫣,” pleaded one fan, while another suggested, “Brother needs some eye drops.”

Jordan has not publicly commented on questions about his health, which existed long before the release of his Bulls docuseries “The Last Dance,” which streamed into sports fans’ living rooms in 2020.

However, the coloring of his eyes during this ten-episode series raised similar concerns among fans.

Whatever the problem – some suspect alcohol-induced jaundice or other, more serious conditions such as cirrhosis of the liver or cancer – it has not stopped the Basketball Hall of Fame member from joining Prieto on his summer tour of Europe.

Previous stops have included Saint Tropez, Barcelona and Ibiza before Thursday’s football match in Monaco, arriving on his mega yacht “M’BRACE”.

Jordan and Prieto celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary in April and have 10-year-old twin daughters, Victoria and Isabel.

The six-time NBA champion actually received some good news this week, as the sale of his $14.8 million Chicago mansion appeared to be moving forward, more than a decade after it hit the market for $29 million in 2012.
