NBA Twitter reacts to Paul George’s Sixers preseason debut against the Wolves

The Philadelphia 76ers lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves 121-111 in their preseason game Friday night in Iowa, but the result didn’t matter Friday. The Sixers were able to get Paul George to make his preseason debut on the floor, and that was all that mattered in this game.

George scored 23 points on 8-for-15 shooting and 4-for-9 from distance and also grabbed six rebounds in 26 minutes of play. Tyrese Maxey, who scored 21 points in 24 minutes, and George were a nearly unstoppable duo in the third quarter as they took over the game to put Philadelphia back in the game.

George scored 13 points on 4-for-6 shooting in the second quarter and made three 3-pointers on five attempts. You can see the potential of his presence on this Sixers team.
