Odds, picks and predictions for Oklahoma City Thunder and Portland Trail Blazers

The Oklahoma City Thunder (4:0) against the Portland Trail Blazers (2-3) Friday at Moda Center. The launch date is set for 10:00 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze the 24/7 NBA odds from BetMGM Sportsbook Thunder vs Trail Blazers Opportunities and meet our expert NBA picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season Series: First Meeting; Thunder went 4-0 last year

The Thunder earned a 105-93 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night. However, they failed to cover the high margin of 12.5 points. G Shai Gilgeous Alexander had a bad evening with “only” 18 points on 7-for-20 shooting (2-for-10 from 3-point range). F Luguentz there (20) and C Chet Holmgren (19) had their back with a total of 39 points.

The Blazers defeated the LA Clippers 106-105 in an 8-point road win on Wednesday. G Anfernee Simons had a team-high 25 points. C Deandre Ayton was one of 5 players in double figures with 15 points and 12 boards. The Blazers have won 2 of 3.

Thunder at Trail Blazers tips and predictions

forecast

Thunder 109, Trail Blazers 101

Money line

The Blazers are an improved team, and once they get some of their pieces back healthy, they could see a significant increase in their win total. However, OKC is finding ways to win on SGA’s off nights and building chemistry for June.

I don’t see any surprises here, but OKC -650 is way out of our price range. Instead, I’m betting on Holmgren. Against him, Ayton has been under fire his entire career for not being a great center back. Meanwhile, Holmgren’s numbers are up significantly compared to his freshman year last season. His 22.5 PPG (16.5 last year), 11.0 RPG (7.9) and 3.5 blocks (2.3) are way up there early. I could see a 20-and-10 performance here.

Take CHET HOLMGREN OVER 30.5 POINTS+REBOUNDS+ASSISTS (-125).

Against the spread

The Blazers lost to the Golden State Warriors 140-104 in their home opener. After that, they were 3-0-1 ATS.

So while I’m selling OKC here, don’t undersell Portland at home at this point. After this win against the Dubs, they held their teams to 106 PPG.

Take Trailblazer +11.5 (-110).

Over/Under

As mentioned, the Blazers have prevented teams from dropping more than 111 points on them over the last four games. Meanwhile, OKC is just 17th with 112.3 PPG and 27th with 31.2% from distance.

I really like that UNDER 220.5 (-110) Here.
