Police arrest man for stealing from two stores: Brunswick police report

BRUNSWICK, Ohio

Theft, Pearl Road

On July 22 at 1:13 p.m., police were alerted to a call of theft at a store on Pearl Road. Management reported the suspect stole $100 worth of items and fled. Police located the suspect a short distance away and found that he had stolen additional items from another store. He was arrested and charged with two counts of theft and resisting arrest. He was also barred from entering the store.

Arrest Warrant, Pearl Road

On July 23, a woman was arrested when police were called to a business where a suspicious person was harassing staff and customers. She had a Strongsville Police Department warrant out for disturbing the peace. She was arrested and turned over to Strongsville Police Department. The bicycle she was riding was taken to the Brunswick Police Department bike rack.

Fraud, Devonshire Drive

A woman reported an online scam at 11:58 a.m. on July 22 when she purchased concert tickets from a seller on Facebook and never received the tickets.

Open container, Interstate 71

A driver and one of her passengers were charged with carrying open containers of alcohol in a motor vehicle following a traffic stop on July 24 at 11:22 p.m. The driver was also charged with ignoring a traffic obstruction.
