Police search for suspect in Dallastown grocery store burglary

York County Regional Police are searching for the man who broke into a Dallastown supermarket on Wednesday.

The man broke into the Good 2 Go convenience store in the 500 block of East Main Street around 1:25 a.m. by breaking down the store’s front door, police said. He said he stole money and numerous tobacco products from the store.

The suspect was wearing a dark hoodie, black pants, black gloves, a face covering and a gray backpack.

According to police, the suspect fled the scene on foot southbound on South Duke Street in Dallastown.

Anyone who can identify the man, has information or has video footage of the area between 1 and 1:40 a.m. is asked to contact York County Regional Police Officer Cavanaugh at 717-741-1259, extension 140. Anyone can also leave a tip on the police website at www.ycrpd.org.
