Two days are over, one more to go at the 2024 Solheim Cup.

The 19th edition of the biennial event will see Team USA compete against Team Europe at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia.

The U.S. team leads all-time at 10-7-1, but hasn’t won since 2017.

The USA won the first session on Friday 3-1 and made it 6-2 on Friday afternoon. The two teams tied 2-2 on Saturday morning, leaving the USA 8-4 ahead after three sessions. The Americans need to score 14 ½ points to win the Cup.

Nelly Korda, Lauren Coughlin, Jennifer Kupcho and Sarah Schmelzel were not present for the USA, while Esther Henseleit, Maja Stark, Leona Maguire and Albana Valenzuela were not used at the European Championships.

Who will lead the 2024 Solheim Cup?

The USA leads 9-4, with three games left to play on the golf course.

Next up are the Sunday singles, where all 12 members of each team take to the court to decide the cup.
