Saints have a great chance of making it to the Super Bowl after a surprising 2-0 start

No other NFL team has seen its chances of reaching the Super Bowl increase as much in two weeks as the Saints.

New Orleans has more than halved its 2025 Lombardi Trophy odds, rising from +8000 to +3000 at BetMGM Sportsbook after a surprising 2-0 start to the season.

The Saints now have the 12th best Super Bowl chances, up from 22nd place just over a week ago.

In the NFC, they have the fifth-best odds (+1200) to win the conference.

In Week 1, New Orleans dismantled the dysfunctional Panthers 47-10 thanks to three touchdown passes from Derek Carr.

They were perhaps even more impressive in their win over the Cowboys in Week 2.

The Saints swept the Cowboys in Dallas 44-19, the second strong performance in a row from their offense.

Star running back Alvin Kamara led the offense in this game, running 115 yards and reaching the end zone four times.

Even though a Super Bowl win is still unlikely, the playoffs seem to be a real possibility for the Saints team, which many had predicted would be relegated to the playoffs.

The Saints are -200 odds to make the playoffs and their over/under total win odds have risen to 10.5 at BetMGM.

They are now tied with the Buccaneers, who are also 2-0, at +160 to win the NFC South.

New Orleans is not the only up-and-comer in the first two weeks of the NFL.
