The district will launch a series of warehouse sales on August 15 and 29 and September 12, with more to follow.

The first three will be held in the former Mountain View School kindergarten building on the southeast corner of Optimum Way (Third Street) and Lee Avenue. Cash purchases are available between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Buyers must pick up items at that time; no items will be held for later pickup.

Everything is sold as is

Some items are obsolete and some may no longer be fully functional but can be used as replacement parts. Initial items and equipment for sale include bookcases, cafeteria tables with benches, chain link fencing, athletic field line marking machines, filing cabinets, steamers, food warmers, salad bar stations, student chairs (sold in packs of five), and student desks. Future sale items will vary.

According to state law, the proceeds from the sale go into a special account for comparable replacement items.

For more information, call 928-758-3961, x-1000 or [email protected]. A detailed list cannot be provided over the phone. Going forward, surplus equipment sales will occur on a regular basis, although district officials anticipate the location will change.
