She claimed a restaurant charged her a fee for naughty children on her bill – Chip Chick

Imagine this: you are sitting in a nice restaurant and a couple or a parent is eating with their children at a table near you. Soon after the meal begins, you realize that the children are being naughty and their behavior is disrupting your dining experience.

Do you think there should be consequences for this, and if so, what are they? How about an additional fee for children who misbehave on the couple’s check?

Bri Weimar (@goodbyetwenties), a TikTok creator who occasionally posts sarcastic videos about parenting, gained notoriety after making a post about a restaurant that allegedly charged her a fee for “unruly children” after she had dinner with her family.

“If you have children, do not eat at this restaurant,” Bri says at the beginning of her video.

“I was just charged a $50 ‘naughty child fee.’ I’ve never heard of anything like this happening.”

Bri then adds a photo of a receipt to her video, explaining that she and her husband went to a Seattle restaurant with their two children to enjoy “a normal” dinner and were suddenly “fined.”

Bri then mentioned that she received a call from the restaurant’s manager explaining the reason for the extra $50 and shared a recording of it with her TikTok viewers.

“I spoke to the waiter who was taking care of you and your children were singing on their iPads at a very high volume, which ruined the atmosphere for our other guests,” the manager says in the voicemail.

The manager also states that Bri’s children were running around the dining area barefoot and eating food out of their hands.
