Soggy start to the weekend, cooler weather returns

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Saturday morning’s chance of rain will decrease this afternoon

TODAY

The greatest chance of rain for the weekend will be on Saturday morning, with drier conditions in the afternoon. Despite plenty of cloud, it will remain dry in most places through Saturday evening.

TONIGHT

If you’re heading to Coastal’s first home game tonight against William & Mary, it will remain cloudy and quiet tonight with temperatures in the 24s. There’s a slight chance of isolated showers as a cold front approaches our area.

SUNDAY CLEARANCE

The cold front will hold back some clouds on Sunday, but rain chances will remain low. We expect at least some breaks in the clouds as we approach the afternoon. Temperatures will be a little cooler and less muggy on Sunday, but will reach the upper 25s.

NEXT WEEK COOLER

Thanks to the cold front, we’re expecting lower humidity for most of next week, making for a really nice period of weather. Mornings will be cooler, with temperatures reaching the 10s inland of the Waterway! Grab your pumpkin spice latte, because it’s going to feel like fall!
