Tama Bay Lightning presents stadium upgrades

Tama Bay Lightning presents stadium upgrades

The Tampa Bay Lightning will begin the 2024-25 season with a number of exciting new additions designed to enhance the fan experience. As fans approach the arena, they will be greeted by a $6.5 million digital video wall, the largest in Florida. This high-tech addition features state-of-the-art LED lights and 3D capabilities, creating a stunning visual experience both before and after games.

The team has also added a giant gold Bolts logo at the entrance, giving visitors the perfect backdrop for Instagram-worthy photos. An elevated DJ booth with dynamic lighting will provide additional pregame energy, while 16-foot-tall kiosks will be placed along Channelside Drive and Water Street to further enhance the atmosphere.

Inside the arena, the former Firestick Grill will be converted into a $2.5 million food hall. This change from a traditional sit-down restaurant to a more dynamic, food-focused space will provide fans with a variety of culinary options and create a more flexible and casual dining experience.

One of the most significant changes this season is the Bolt for Life initiative. For the first time in franchise history, the names of over 6,000 season ticket holders, partners and suite holders will be etched directly into the Lightning logo at center ice. This gesture not only pays tribute to the team’s most loyal fans, but also underscores their critical role in the franchise’s continued success.
