Taylor Swift arrives at the Kansas City Chiefs game at the start of the NFL season

It is back stronger than a trend of the 90s.

Taylor Swift was spotted arriving at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday night to cheer on her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, in the NFL’s season opener against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Chiefs will host the Ravens in a rematch of last year’s AFC Championship game. The Chiefs defeated the Ravens 17-10 on Jan. 28 and then beat the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII.

Rob Collins, sports director at Fox4 Kansas City, also shared a video of Taylor Swift’s arrival at the venue on social media.

Rumors of Swift and Kelce’s romance began to swirl in July 2023, when he attended the singer’s Eras Tour at his home stadium and joked that he wanted to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it. In September 2023, Kelce admitted on “The Pat McAfee Show” that he invited Swift to watch him play. Later that month, Swift watched the Chiefs take on the Chicago Bears from a suite with Kelce’s mother. The couple were also spotted leaving the venue together, and the pop singer attended several Chiefs games later during the season.

In December, Swift spoke about her relationship with Kelce in an interview with TIME and was named Person of the Year for it.

“It all started when Travis gave me a really nice shout out on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell… We started hanging out right after that,” she told TIME. “By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple.”

After her final performance on the Eras Tour in Tokyo, Swift traveled to Las Vegas to cheer on Kelce and the Chiefs at Super Bowl LVIII, wearing a red bomber jacket and a necklace with the number “87,” Kelce’s jersey number.
