A New York school is offering services to students who are anxious about voting — but Jerry Seinfeld isn’t happy about it.

The Ethical Culture Fieldston School — which has campuses in the Bronx and Manhattan and costs $65,540 a year — recently announced that it would make attendance optional on the Wednesday after Election Day for “students who feel too emotionally burdened.” will, it is said The New York Times. Seinfeld, whose sons attended the school, criticized the institution’s handling of the election, saying that behavior ultimately led his youngest son, Shepherd, to transfer to another private school in eighth grade.

“That’s why the kids hated it,” Seinfeld told the Just. “What kind of lives have these people led that makes them think this is the right way to deal with young people? To encourage you to give in. That’s the lesson they teach for ungodly amounts of money.”

The outlet also pointed out that Seinfeld called out the publication again to clarify that his children did not hate the school itself, but specifically opposed the policies they viewed as overly sensitive.

This isn’t the first time Seinfeld has pushed back against cultural sensitivity. Earlier this year, the comedian accused “the far left” of ruining comedy in film and television. “This is the result of the far left and the PC crap and people being very worried about offending other people,” he said The New Yorker. “Now they will see stand-up comics because we are not monitored by anyone. However, the comedian walked back those comments earlier this month, announcing that his view on the issue had evolved.

“If you’re Lindsey Vonn, if you’re a world champion skier, you can put the gates anywhere you want on the mountain. She will score the goal.
