The county’s real estate sales also include the Gerry tool and mold workshop | News, Sports, Jobs

A Frewsburg company was able to complete the purchase of a tool and die shop in Gerry after receiving assistance from the Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency.

The Post-Journal and the OBSERVER have analyzed real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at transactions from June 12-21.

During this period, Universal Tooling Corp. of Gerry sold 4533 Rt. 60, Gerry to LINC Products & Service, LLC of Frewsburg for $300,000.

In March, the county’s IDA Board of Directors approved two loans totaling $225,000 for LINC products and services to support the acquisition of UTC.

LINC, a Native American-owned small business certified as a minority and/or women-owned business in New York State, specializes in business development/technical sales, machine tool, tooling and manufacturing equipment supply services, raw material supply services, and subcontracting services for manufacturing and construction.

UTC is a full-service CNC machine manufacturing company with a focus on injection molding tools, tool and mold making, and contract manufacturing.

In a separate sale, TBR Development, LLC of Frewsburg sold 112-114 E. Second St., Jamestown, to James Holzborn for $45,000. This appears to be a vacant commercial building. There is a historical marker on the building stating that the Ahlstrom Piano Company was located here from 1875 to 1926.

In another unrelated sale, 1320 Stebbins Road, Hanover, was sold for $74,000 to Erdle Farm Partnership of Silver Creek. Erdle Farm Partnership also owns a blueberry farm on Hanford Road in Hanover.

Also during this period, the Upper New York Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church sold 3183 Open Meadow Road, North Harmony, to Brad Lovall for $15,000. At one time, this was apparently the Open Meadows Ebenezer United Methodist Church.

Including the previously mentioned sale, there were nine sales valued at $250,000 or more from June 12-21. The remaining top sales are as follows:

— 19 Crawford Lane, Busti, sold for $395,000.

– 8 Canal St., Lakewood, sold for $424,900.

— 2477 Keller Road, Busti sold for $375,000.

— 9687 Adams Road, Pomfret sold for $320,000.

– Condominium #D-5, Chautauqua Lake Estates, Town of Chautauqua, sold for $310,000.

— 4156 W. Lake Road, Town of Chautauqua, sold for $300,000.

— 5996 Elmwood Road, Town of Chautauqua, sold for $250,000.

In total, there were 99 transactions from June 12 to June 21. The full list of sales over $1 is as follows:
