The end-of-summer bang takes place on Saturday in Woodward Park

Park-A-Palooza – Manteca Recreation & Community Services’ end-of-summer event – ​​returns to Woodward Park on Saturday, August 10 at 5 p.m.

In addition to food trucks, there will be live music, a beer and wine garden, a large truck show, and craft and activity opportunities for children.

Other upcoming community events include:

*MUSIC ON MAPLE: A night of classic lowrider oldies is the theme of the next “Music on Maple,” taking place on Thursday, August 15, starting at 6 p.m. on the 100 block of Maple Avenue in downtown Manteca.

Register your car or truck at the auto show and get a chance to win prizes.

*MOVIES IN THE PARK: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the featured film at Movies in the Park, taking place on Saturday, September 14, at Woodward Park.

It starts at 5 p.m. with food trucks, games, live music and more. The film begins at sunset.

*MUSIC ON MAPLE: Hispanic Heritage Month is the theme for Thursday, Sept. 19, Music on Maple in the 100 block of Maple Avenue downtown beginning at 6 p.m.

Latin American hits, a mariachi band and folk dances await you.

Various Latino businesses offer treats and food.
