The Las Vegas Raiders’ offense was dominated by the Denver Broncos’ loss

The Las Vegas Raiders fall to 2-3 this season after a 34-18 loss to the Denver Broncos.

The Raiders previously had an eight-game winning streak against their AFC West rival, which has now come to an end following today’s dominant performance from Denver.

Coach Antonio Pierce is now looking for answers, especially at quarterback. Gardner Minshew threw two interceptions during the game, including a 100-yard pick-six to Patrick Surtain II.

He also defeated Tre Tucker and Riley Moss did it. The former third-round pick recorded his first career interception in that game.

Aidan O’Connell came on as a replacement for Minshew while the game was still in hand for the Broncos. Surtain caught him too. An unforgettable day for the Silver and Black quarterbacks.

It was a tough day for the Raiders’ offensive line. The Broncos recorded three sacks, one each from Zach Allen, Jonathon Cooper and Nik Bonitto.

The Raiders have picked up points at times this season, but have struggled mightily on that side. Beyond just the quarterback position, the Raiders need to find ways to sustain their offense and score points or they could quickly find themselves in trouble this season.

Is there a quarterback fix on the roster immediately? Will the move to O’Connell solve all of the Raiders offense’s problems?

It didn’t help that star receiver Davante Adams wasn’t there for the game. The Raiders finished the game with just 215 total passing yards. Bo Nix had 206 alone. The Raiders need more from players like Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker.

Offensively, things weren’t all bad for the Raiders. The game started with a bang as Minshew fired a shot from the field and Brock Bowers made an incredible diving catch that carried the ball 57 yards for the score.

The Raiders also moved the ball well down the field before Surtain jumped to Bowers in front of Minshew’s pass.

The running game was better again, totaling 115 yards on the ground and one touchdown. Without Zamir White, Alexander Mattison and Ameer Abdullah made a few plays.

There were moments the Raiders could build on, but Vance Joseph’s Broncos defense was absolutely dominant.

The Raiders play a dominant Pittsburgh Steelers defense next week, so they need to find a solution quickly.
