The new Cheesy restaurant officially opens in the Westdale neighborhood

The new Cheesy restaurant officially opens in the Westdale neighborhood

Things are about to get REALLY cheesy! Cheese Pasta Macs and Snacks is now welcoming customers at 3998 Westdale Pkwy SW in Cedar Rapids!

According to the Facebook page, Cheesy Noodle Macs & Snacks is a “Build your own Mac & Cheese business” which also serves grilled cheese, french fries, soup/chili, and Italian ice. The Mac & Cheese menu includes “fan favorites” like Classic, Philly, Cheeseburger Deluxe, and Texas Cowboy, but you also have the option to choose your own toppings. First, you choose your base, which can be regular pasta, gluten-free pasta (which is cooked in a separate cooker and made to order), french fries, or broccoli, and then you choose your sauce and protein. Next come the mix-ins, followed by the cheese topping and the drizzle of sauce on top. And if all that isn’t enough, you can add “something crunchy” on top for an additional $0.50!

If you’re in the mood for a grilled cheese sandwich, there’s also a “Fan Favorites” section on the menu, as well as a “Build Your Own Sandwich” option. Sandwiches you can choose from include Buffalo Chicken, Cuban, Loose Meat, or Loaded Ultimate, which is topped with Mac & Cheese! For the grilled cheese sandwiches, there’s sourdough bread and gluten-free bread available.

Cheesy Noodle officially opened its doors in the former Great Harvest Bread Company on Monday, August 26. Hours are not yet known, but a comment from the restaurant says they will be open daily from 11 a.m. For the latest updates, you can follow their Facebook page HERE.
