Tom Brady seemingly responds to his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen’s pregnancy with a cryptic “landslide” message

Tom Brady felt introspectively haunted Gisele Bündchen‘s pregnancy announcement.

Brady, 47, appeared to share his sentiment by posting a sunset photo to his Instagram Stories and using The Chicks’ “Landslide” cover as background music. He added lyrics to his Monday, October 28, post, specifically the verses: “Oh, mirror in heaven, what is love? / Can the child rise up in my heart? / Can I sail through the changing tides of the ocean?”

Above these immortal words, first written and performed by Stevie NicksBrady placed three red emoji hearts.

Hours earlier it was announced that Bündchen, 44, and her boyfriend Joaquim ValenteThey are expecting their first baby together, their third.

“Gisele and Joaquim are excited about this new chapter in their lives and look forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the entire family,” a source said People on Monday.

The supermodel and Brady share son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, and Bündchen is also stepmother to Brady’s son Jack, 17, whom the former NFL quarterback shares with his ex Bridget Moynahan.

Bündchen and Valente have been together since summer 2023. The couple worked together on a photoshoot for 2021 Dust Magazine. Valente later became Bündchen’s jiu-jitsu instructor.

“Their kids really like him,” a source said exclusively Us weekly about how Benjamin and Vivian feel about Valente coming into their lives, adding that Valente “has been living in (Bündchen’s) house in Miami for a while.”

The insider told Us that Bündchen is “head over heels” in love with Valente and remarks that “her friends have never seen her like that.”

The source added: “They’ve always had chemistry and they have a lot in common. “They’ve been in love for a while.”

Earlier this year Us reported that the two began their relationship as friends before things changed in 2023.

“Joaquim was there as a friend for Gisele during her divorce, and they became romantic last summer,” a source explained in February, adding that the couple have “similar lifestyles” and are both “committed to fitness and diet.”

Although Bündchen met Valente while she was still married to Brady, she has firmly denied speculation that she cheated on her ex-husband.

“That’s a lie,” she said The New York Times in March. “This happens to many women who are blamed for having the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and labeled as unfaithful. They have to engage with their communities. They have to take care of their family. Of course it just gets a little amplified for me.”

In the same interview, Bündchen declined to reveal the reason for her split from Brady, saying only, “No one really knows what happens between two people, only the two people in the relationship.”

Bündchen and Brady announced their divorce in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.

We will continue to work together as parents to ensure they always receive the love and attention they deserve.”

While Bündchen is moving on with Valente, Brady has been spending a lot of time with his children. The seven-time Super Bowl champion took Benjamin and Jack with him Taylor Swift‘S Epoch tour concert in Miami on October 18 and shared a sweet snapshot with his boys via Instagram.

“The gang doing @taylorswift,” he captioned the post. “I think I’ve learned that I’m a reputation guy.”
