WABI Weekday Walkers will walk to Marvista Park on Wednesday, August 21

From our friends at WABI Burien:

All are invited to join the WABI Weekday Walkers for a 2-mile walk in Normandy Park on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, starting at 9am.

We park at MarVista Park (side of 4th Ave. where there are restrooms) and walk north on 4th Ave.

Our route takes us through the Nature Trails Park and along Marine View Drive back to our starting point.

The trail mostly follows sidewalks, with some dirt roads leading through the Nature Trails Park.

When hiking in Normandy Park you have to overcome some hills.

The park entrance leads down some steps with a railing.

The walk is expected to take 60-70 minutes.

• Date: Wednesday, August 21, 2024; meet 5-10 minutes before 9 a.m. so we can start on time at 9:00 a.m.
• Meeting point: Marvista Park, 19990 4th Ave SW, Normandy Park, WA 98166. We meet in the parking lot on 4th Ave SW, near SW 200th Street (map below).
