Michigan football is in Seattle on its first road trip of the season to take on the unranked Washington Huskies in Week 6 of the college football season tonight at 7:30 p.m. This is a rematch of January’s national championship game, which the Wolverines won 34-13.

Both programs have undergone major changes since that game, including hiring new head coaches, drafting several players into the NFL and introducing new quarterbacks. The Huskies will also face the Wolverines in Big Ten action for the first time since joining the conference this summer.

After Michigan earned a 27-24 victory over Minnesota last week, there are issues that need to be addressed, particularly because the passing game is among the worst in the sport. Now, for the first time on the road, coach Sherrone Moore faces a hostile environment against Huskies first-year coach Jedd Fisch, who was a Michigan offensive assistant from 2015-16. Fisch resurrected Arizona for three years before coming to Washington.

Michigan vs. Washington Prediction, Tips, Odds

Tony Garcia, Detroit Free Press: Shutting Michigan out of any game is foolish, but winning this game seems like a real task. It’s a 2,000-mile journey into a hostile West Coast environment against a program looking to avenge a national title loss in January (even with new faces). UW passed the ball well and Michigan was vulnerable to the pass. If UM doesn’t take an early lead, the last two weeks have predicted a possible second-half collapse. It’s hard to win at Husky Stadium, where UW has won 17 straight games. The choice: Washington 26, Michigan 20

  • Spread: Washington at 1½
  • Over/Under Overall: 41½
  • Money line: Washington -120, Michigan +100
