While fall is one of the most beautiful times of the year for many, there is a day when most worries and wishes would never come true. Fall is full of great days like Halloween, Thanksgiving, football season, the World Series, and the start of basketball and hockey. The weather is ideal and there is lots of fun to be had in the fall. The bad thing about fall, however, is that it’s time for the dreaded time change when the clocks go back. Daylight saving time is a day that many complain about, but if you forget to change your clocks, you’ll be too early to do anything. It’s almost time to change your clocks again as Daylight Saving Time is approaching, but when is it?

It’s been a while since the time change on March 10th and that’s over 7 Months since the time change, it feels like the time change should have happened already, but There are other days with additional daylight. The debate comes up twice a year: Should California join Hawaii and Arizona and abolish daylight saving time? Changing the time used to be a big hassle because everyone had to manually go through their house and into their vehicle and change all the clocks. If you forgot this, you would be early or late for work, church, or appointments. Nowadays most people only need to change the clock in the vehicle and maybe one or two in the house as phones, clocks and many other clocks update themselves. The biggest problem with the time change is adjusting sleep schedules, especially for little ones. It may take days or maybe a week or two to get used to, but the good news is that you get an extra hour of sleep in the fall, which makes it a little more comfortable.

Perhaps, One day California will do it abolish the time change, but for now, make sure you mark your calendars and change your clocks again on November 3rd. Enjoy the extra hour of sleep, and hopefully your schedule won’t be thrown off too much this time of year.
