White Sox offer 10% off tickets for 2025 – NBC Sports Chicago

Brooks Boyer, White Sox chief revenue and marketing officer, told a group of reporters on Wednesday that the organization will offer a 10% discount on tickets across the board next season.

“Considering what has happened here overall in the last few years, it will be a little different. There is a price reduction,” Boyer told Merkin.

The White Sox are currently one of the worst teams in MLB. They currently hold a record of 29-92, which is 42.5 games behind the first-place Guardians and 14.5 games behind the second-to-last Rockies.

The front office has cleaned up, trading away several key players in the last two trade deadlines, firing manager Pedro Grifol and naming new coach Grady Sizemore as interim manager for the 2024 season.

The South Side’s attendance numbers are also in the lower range of the league. According to ESPN, the team ranks 27th in the MLB with an average of 18,231 fans per home game. In terms of attendance between home and away games, the White Sox rank 28th.

According to the Gametime app, the White Sox’s average ticket price for the 2024 season is $29, the fourth-cheapest average ticket price in MLB. And with a discount on the horizon, they’ll likely lose a few more spots in 2025.
