Wine sale! Pearly Bottle Shop in downtown Tucson closes

Pearly Bottle Shopformerly known as Pearly Baker Fermentables, is closing its location at 64 E. Broadway Blvd.

The bottle shop, owned and operated by Patricia Schwabeis saying goodbye with a bang and is holding a wine sale on Friday, August 23rd and Saturday, August 24th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

“Pearly needs to clear its shelves,” said Schwabe, who also runs Penca and Tooley’s Cafe. “We’re shutting down the concept and have great bottles that need a home!”

So the store at Broadway Boulevard and Scott Avenue will only be open for two days, this Friday and Saturday. The team is looking forward to engaging with the community one last time at this store and finding new homes for the rest of their wine.

“We look forward to your visit!”

However, this does not necessarily mean that Schwabe’s beverage market concept is over forever.

“The staff and the wine you love will be back and better than ever, sooner than you might think.”

Stay tuned for upcoming updates.
