WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi asks for prayers for Jimmy Uso

WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi asks for prayers for Jimmy Uso

Jimmy Uso hasn’t been with the WWE for quite some time.

After Roman Reigns lost to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 and Jimmy lost to his twin brother Jey Uso, Jimmy was removed from the Bloodline by his other brother Solo Sikoa.

Since then, Jimmy has not been seen on WWE television. According to Fightful Select, this is because he is suffering from an undisclosed injury.

While fans around the world wish Jimmy the best and eagerly await his return, a strange update has caused confusion and concern in the internet wrestling community.

Today, Jimmy Uso’s father, WWE Hall of Fame member Rikishi, posted a message on X asking for prayers for his son.

“Dear GOD,” Rikishi said. “(I pray) for strength and health to continue. … Keep praying for my boy (Jonathan Fatu).”

His comment was shared along with a video of Jimmy and a voiceover saying a prayer:

“Dear God, give me the strength I need to continue this journey, give me hope and perseverance in the face of difficulties. I trust in your guidance, strength and love to help me through difficult times. Remind me that I am capable of getting through anything that comes my way.”

This has led to several fans praying for Jimmy. However, it has also raised an important question: What happened to Jimmy Uso?!?!

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, nothing.

“When I asked people at WWE, they said they spoke to Jimmy Uso and he says he’s fine,” Sapp said. “I don’t have any further information.”

While many fans were happy that Jimmy was doing well, there was just as much confusion over why Rikishi was posting these things, with some even accusing Fatu of taking advantage of his son to get attention.

However, X-user ThatLovelyRose noted that Jimmy may be struggling with personal issues that have arisen in the past.

“I hope Jimmy isn’t hiding his demons from others and suffering inside,” ThatLovelyRose said. “That’s usually what you get when something as cryptic as Rikishi’s tweet comes out.”

Specifically, they refer to the multiple incidents in which Jimmy was charged with drunk driving. In addition, there was one incident in which he was charged with disturbing the peace and obstruction of justice.

No matter what is going on with Jimmy Uso, everyone hopes that he takes care of himself and returns to WWE soon.
